Species Anatomy/Profile Reference #1: Vulpa (Fox)
Subspecies: Vulpen (red foxes), Vulox (brown foxes) and Vulago (Arctic Foxes) - While many species have gone to war with one another in the ancient past, no war has ever seemed as trivial as the Vulpa civil war. Nobody remembers why they began fighting, and nobody remembers the great empire they destroyed. Nowadays they’re content to live near each other, and save their dirty looks for when the other species aren’t looking.
Culture: Prone to Vanity and emotional outbursts, the Vulpa are easily lead astray. For all their cleverness and wit they do not usually act on logic and reason, and are more than willing to change their minds at the drop of a hat if they think it’s the right thing to do. They are the least prone to marry outside of their species.
SCRAPPED: The Shadowless World: Prologue - Page ?
Though these events will probably still be canonical, and this conversation will probably be in the final version relatively unchanged, I’m not going to be using this, because of changes in style, order of events, and well honestly, I feel like I can do better now.
But this has been sitting on my desktop for a while, and I did put in the effort, so there you go.
The shadowless world: Siblings
I had to combine those two pictures, because even though I drew them a month apart they just looked like they were supposed to be the same picture, or maybe that’s what I intended all along.
Oh well, these two aren’t going to be in the story together for quite a while, may as well do something with the two of them.
The Shadowless World: William’s Soul
A long time ago when all the characters in this story were human, I toyed around with the ideas of familiars and spirit animals. Of course I dropped that when they stopped being human, because… well, that seemed a little odd.
But since then the idea has developed into something else entirely, the idea that a long time ago, the creatures of this world were something else, and their souls still represent what they would have been.
Re: Where the Sun Never Sets
I guess I have improved a bit in the last few years…
"Neat sketch, I’m going to finish this in a few days, after I finish a few other things."
*Continues working on sketch…
"Okay then, just don’t get to crazy with it"
*Cranks intensity up to 11.
(By which I mean TONS of luminosity layers.)

The Shadowless World - The Me That’s Not Me…
"You lose your body, you lose your anchor to the physical world, you lose your mind, you lose your ability to interpret the physical world. But what if you lost both, no body, no mind? What would you be? and how could you ever find yourself again?"
These last few weeks have been really great, I don’t know, something has clicked and I’m super happy with my art.
So I figured I may as well have a header I can be happier looking at.
Mice and Mystics~ Lily
Yeah, never done fanart of a boardgame before, but whatever.
I had two different ideas of how to do this, so I ended up doing both.
The strong one…
"My sister is the strong one" That’s been my motto for pretty much my whole life, Temperance taught me that you would always be there to pick up the slack, to help me face my fears, because let’s be honest, you aren’t afraid of anything… well, except the one thing.
One second you’re having a conversation you’ve had a million times (no, you don’t know where your brother is!) and seconds later you’re right in the middle of your worst fear, you’d forgotten the river was even there, it seemed so far away, a distant concept, not part of your world. And in an instant, its depths are all you see, and are quite possibly the last thing you’ll ever see…
Because you know, nobody saw you fall…
We could still go back…
But Foxtrot knew that wasn’t an option.
Maria didn’t want to live without a purpose, and Foxtrot couldn’t live without her…
Sort of a belated birthday gift for Vanttalon
